My name is Anna and we are a family buried in books! We love them – Reading them, reviewing them, collecting them, writing them, even planting our noses right in the middle of them and having a joyous sniff!
I started this blog in 2017 when I returned to my writing practice while my children were small. Here I’ve shared some of our reading joy and a little of my writing journey from the first flurry of belief which led on to fiction editing and proofreading and a desire to work in children’s publishing.
Now, nearly 7 years since I started this blog, I’m returning after a long break! Too many rejections, as I attempted to secure a proper job in publishing, broke my love of books for a while there (and my spirit). Long story – and this is a place for short ones so I won’t say more although an ADD diagnosis was an interesting chapter! Who knows where this blog goes now but . . .
